Presented Erasmus+ Vocational Education and Training Mobility Charters

On 28 September 2017, the State Education Development Agency (SEDA) has presented Erasmus+ Vocational Education and Training (VET) Mobility Charters to five vocational education institutions which will allow them to apply for Erasmus+ mobility funding in simplified form in the future.

VET Mobility Charter is awarded to organizations that have previously demonstrated the ability to organize high quality mobility of vocational education and training for learners and staff, have provided effective and safe financial management of mobility projects, and have established a clear and well-grounded internationalization strategy for the institution. The Charter is committed throughout the Erasmus+ program until 2020.

In 2017 VET Mobility Charters received:

  • Riga Style and Fashion Technical School (Rīgas Stila un modes tehnikums);
  • Ogre Technical School (Ogres tehnikums);
  • Daugavpils Technical School (Daugavpils tehnikums);
  • Daugavpils Construction Technical School (Daugavpils Būvniecības tehnikums);
  • Mechanics and Technology College of Olaine (Olaines Mehānikas un tehnoloģijas koledža).

In 2016 VET Charter received eight vocational education institutions: Riga School of Design and Art (Rīgas Dizaina un mākslas vidusskola), Riga Tourism and Creative Industries Technical School (Rīgas Tūrisma un radošās industrijas tehnikums), Kuldiga Technology and Tourism Technical School (Kuldīgas Tehnoloģiju un tūrisma tehnikums), Riga Art and Media School (Rīgas mākslas un mediju tehnikums), Smiltene Technical School (Smiltenes tehnikums), Riga State Technical School (Rīgas Valsts tehnikums), Jelgava Crafts Secondary School (Jelgavas Amatu vidusskola) and Aizkraukle Professional Secondary School (Aizkraukles Profesionālā vidusskola). In its turn, Valmiera Vocational Training Center (Valmieras tehnikums) received the Charter in the 2015 competition.
