Employers’ motivation to take part in implementation of work based learning
The study of Ministry of Economics “The employers’ motivation to take part in the implementation work based learning” was aimed at providing a deeper insight for education and economic policy makers on possible support measures in the implementation of work based learning in vocational education.
The study includes assessment of fiscal impact of support measures on the state budget and impact of specific measures on aims of education policy and economy.
The study explored the legislation on the development of work based learning in Latvia and analysed the foreign practice on the implementation of vocational education and work based learning. Proposals have been prepared and implementation directions on the support measures for vocational education institution students and employers to take part in work based learning. An impact assessment has been made on the development of work based learning system and state budget. Also research on feasibility of corporate scholarship fund has been carried out.
