VET Mobility Charters awarded

On 9 November 2016, the State Education Development Agency presented the Erasmus+ VET Mobility Charters to eight vocational education institutions. The award allows them to use a simplified procedure to apply for Erasmus+ funding.

In 2016, VET Mobility Charters were awarded to:

  • Riga Design and Art School,
  • Riga Tourism and Creative Industry Technical College,
  • Kuldiga Technology and Tourism Technical College,
  • Riga Art and Media Technical College,
  • Smiltene Technical College,
  • Riga State Technical School,
  • Jelgava Crafts Secondary School,
  • Aizkraukle Vocational Secondary School.

In the previous call in 2015 the Charter was awarded to Valmiera Technical College.

The VET Mobility Charter is awarded to organizations which have demonstrated their capacity to organize high-quality mobility projects for learners and staff, have ensured an efficient and safe financial management, as well as set up a clear and viable institutional internationalization strategy. The Charter is granted for the full duration of the Erasmus + program – until 2020.
