Erasmus+ mobility charters awarded

In 20 September 2019, State Education Development Agency (SEDA) awarded Erasmus+ Vocational Education and Training Mobility Charters to Ventspils Technical School, Melnava College and Vocational school “Victoria”.

In the previous years VET Mobility Charters were given to the following vocational schools:

  • Jekabpils College of Agrobusiness (2018);
  • Cesis Secondary School of Technology and Design (2018);
  • Riga Technical School of Style and Fashion (2017);
  • Ogre Technical School (2017);
  • Daugavpils Technical School (2017);
  • Daugavpils Technical School of Construction (2017);
  • Mechanics and Technology College of Olaine (2017);
  • Riga Secondary School of Design and Art (2016);
  • Riga Technical School of Tourism and Creative Industry (2016);
  • Kuldiga Technical School of Technology and Tourism (2016);
  • Aizkraukle Vocational Secondary School (2016);
  • Riga Technical School of Art and Media (2016);
  • Smiltene Technical School (2016);
  • Jelgava Secondary School of Crafts (2016);
  • Riga State Technical School (2016);
  • Valmiera Technical School (2015).

Vocational Education and Training Mobility Charters enables institutions to apply for Erasmus+ teaching/learning mobilities funding faster and easier. In order to benefit from Vocational Education and Training Mobility Carters, institutions should be able to organise quality mobilities for students and staff, ensure efficient high-quality financial management for mobility projects and establish a clear internationalisation strategy. VET Mobility Charters are awarded until the end of the Erasmus+ programme (2020).
