More than 14 000 inhabitants have applied 4th round of adult education
Fourth round of adult education programme has concluded. In total 22 778 applications for learning have been received from 14 136 people. Inhabitants will be informed about confirmation of learning in the coming weeks. At the end of July and in August forming of groups and learning will begin.

From June 5 – 8, 2019, the General Assembly of the WorldSkills Europe organisation took place for the first time in Riga with participation of 90 experts from 29 countries. Representatives discussed the development of vocational education and international professional mastery competitions. The event is organised by State Education Development Agency (SEDA) in cooperation with Ministry of Education and Science.

“SkillsLatvia 2019” competition for young professionals was organised by the State Education Development Agency (SEDA) from 8 to 9 May at Kipsala International Exhibition Centre. In the event 129 participants from 34 vocational education institutions competed for medals in 19 skill competitions.
